Why You Should Spay / Neuter Your Pet

The sad truth is that there are thousands of homeless pets all over the world.

In every state and neighborhood, there are pets with no home. In the U.S. alone, there are between 6 and 8 million homeless animals that enter animal shelters every single year. Unfortunately only around one half of these pets are adopted. The sad and tragic truth is that the the other half are euthanized.

There are as many as three hundred thousand homeless animals that are euthanized in pet shelters every single year. These are healthy, sweet pets who would have made great companions. Puppies and kittens of cherished family pets and even purebreds.

Having your pet spayed or neutered is the only permanent, and completely effective method of birth control for dogs and cats.
